As of 12/01/2009 there will be a rate change in our employee health coverage.
Each year our insurance broker, Comprehensive Benefits, performs an audit of all our policies to help control corporate health care expenses. As the result of this year’s audit, we will be keeping CareFirst BCBS as carrier but Global CI will not be contributing to your HSA plan. Instead we will be taking this contribution and we will be using this to lower your bi-weekly medical deduction to offset some of the increased costs.
The coverage is nearly identical to the current plan, with two exceptions:
The modified coverage will be in force effective 12/01/2009. Below are the new rates for Global CI medical coverage. The rates are based on a bi-weekly deduction.
